Juliusz is an industrial designer from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He felt better writing the first sentence of this bio than he did acquiring his favorite first pair of Air Jordans more than seven years ago, and hopes to do the title of ‘designer’ justice in the future. A passion to create objects nobody has seen before, including himself, drives him to sketch ceaselessly and push the future of industrial and product design, specifically in the field of footwear design. Juliusz loves to work collaboratively with like-minded individuals, and is eternally thankful for the people he has been surrounded by during his design education. Following graduation, he hopes to become a footwear designer.

FOOTWEAR DESIGN

My first foray into the world of footwear design in a physical sense. A modern lifestyle silhouette with a hand-sewn and hand-lasted upper consisting of natural leathers unique rear-lacing system, this experiment helped me to begin to understand footwear design in three dimensions.
