Danielle specializes in both print and digital design, with a special enjoyment of book layout and app design. She has an eye for typography and is also a growing illustrator. Her favourite topics involve using design to look at critical issues, especially related to gender. In addition to creating visually pleasing systems, she believes design is about making information more accessible. Design can be used to create and recognize diversity, and should always be a consideration in conceptualization. Danielle is always looking for opportunities to try new things and take on new challenges.

BOOK RE-DESIGN
Re-design of three novels into a boxed set. Hosseini’s novels deal with themes of family and struggle in Afghanistan. The sombre tone of the novels was reflected in quiet, serious covers. Illustrations allude to symbols within the novels.
